Ripple (XRP) returns back in top 4 while BNB sets new ATH at $580
New records for some of the biggest cryptocurrencies with Ripple surpassing $1,10 after almost 3 years and BNB breaking new ATH above $575.
Bitcoin shows no signals of slowing down as the currency has broke another All-Time High record at $62,600 with some of the larger-cap altcoins following to the north side. Binance Coin is not the only asset to break price records as Ripple seems to be an excellent performer in the last few days.
To be more specific, XRP has returned above $1 for the first time after almost 3 years. Not only had a 3-year high above $1 but it also returned to the 4th place in terms of marketCap. Ripple seems to be stronger than ever as the coin has managed to maintain the price above $1.50 and secure the 4th spot.
Ripple is among the best performers
Positive news about the legal case against the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) was the main reason for XRP’s rise. The project earned some ground in the last court hearing that took place yesterday and immediately the price skyrocketed.
Ripple was adding value at its price for 4 consecutive days having gains of almost 100% since April 4th. Those gains changed XRP’s status to one of the best performers for the current week, leading the price further north at $1.59. Of course, increasing the price means increasing the market capitalization as well, which lead XRP higher on the crypto list.
Altcoins mostly in green with BNB breaking new record
Binance coin is the second altcoin to pay attention this week as the currency broke another ATH record above $575. Most larger-cap have mimicked XRP and BNB increasing significantly their value. Cardano is up 5% and currently trades around $1.22. Litecoin has marked some impressive gains leading the price above $260 and sets new plans for $280.
Chainlink and THETA are also in green having both gains of 7% and 8% moving their prices at $33.54 and $12.08 respectively.
Ethereum could not remain above $2,230 and plunged at $2,225 where it currently trades.
