Litecoin receives massive gains surging above $100 for the first time in 2020
Bitcoin was not the only asset that broke above $20,000 and marked a new ATH but we should pay some attention to Litecoin as it also broke above $100 for the first time in over a year
Last week there was observed a huge rise on the total Market Cap jumping from $575 Billion to $650 Billion. Of course the first word has Bitcoin as it amazingly pumped from $19,400 to almost $24,000 in less than 24 hours. However, Litecoin and Ripple are also a determinant factor for the Global Market as they added a remarkable value to the Crypto Market Cap due to their sudden pump.
Bitcoin: A Flashback back to the last 24 hours
Last few days Bitcoin was trading around $19,000 while everybody was on standby mode waiting to celebrate the new All-Time High record. Nevertheless, the King of Coins had many Ups and Downs, with analysts claiming that there will not be a new record by the end of 2020.
After many unsuccessful attempts to brake the psychological resistance line of $19,600, the primary Cryptocurrency made it and breached above $20,000 for the first time in BTC history, but it did not stop there and continued increasing its value leading the price all the way up, just a few dollars below $24,000 where it stopped and currently trades.
In other words, Bitcoin added almost $4,000 at its value in less than 24 hours marking a new All-Time High of $23,800.
The dream did not last for so long as the world’s largest Cryptocurrency changed direction going from north to south dropping almost $1,400 where it stopped at $22,400. However, Bitcoin recovered some of the losses and currently trades above $23,000 (at the time of writing).
Most Alternative coins mimicked Bitcoin’s price movement and followed their King to the north marking some important gains pushing the total Market Cap all the way up.
Despite the non-stop “gaining” some of the Altcoins decided to stop increasing and remained stall keeping their price constant for the last 24 hours, while Litecoin and Ripple continued further north.
