The world’s second largest Cryptocurrency jumped above $740 marking a new ATH record as Bitcoin lost almost $2,000 of its latest gains

It has only been 12 days since Bitcoin broke $20,000 but the primary cryptocurrency keeps escalating day by day surprising us with further gains. After surpassing the first All-Time High, the King of Coins skyrocketed at $28,400 marking another ATH record during Christmas holidays with experts claiming that there is a possibility for another new jump at $30,000 by the end of 2020. However, the world’s largest Cryptocurrency couldn’t manage to hold the price at its peak and lost almost $2,000 leading the price at $26,500 where it currently trades.

Bitcoin plunges while Altcoins mark massive gains

The King of Coins lost an important part of its value but is still on top of all having yearly gains of almost 72%. Nevertheless, the rest Alternative coins are still heading north side marking some serious gains. It is something that we rarely see but this time Altcoins decided to not mimic Bitcoin’s moves and turned the other side with Ethereum marking a new yearly All-Time High (+15%), setting the price at $725. As for the rest currencies, Bitcoin cash had increases of 4%, Binance Coin 3.5%, Cardano (2.25%), all included in the “Green” zone while Litecoin and Ripple are the only coins that lost value, remaining inside the “Red” zone.
