This week, the cryptocurrency industry brings only cozy vibes as Bitcoin has broke a new ATH at $65K, while Ethereum is closer than ever to $2,400 for the first time in history.
It has been almost a month since we saw a new ATH for Bitcoin. The primary cryptocurrency was suffering multiple prices drop unable to find some peace. However, its dominance keeps decreasing as many altcoins surged even more.
BTC broke its silence on 7th April with the coin first skyrocketing above $60,000 before it moves further north to break 4 consecutive records and finally stop at $64,500 where it currently trades. The world’s largest cryptocurrency remained stuck above $60K for 48 hours with many analysts predicting another bullish behavior at $62,000.
It took almost a month for BTC to reclaim its last ATH at $60K but the currency didn’t stop there. Firstly, BTC surpassed $61K to continue further north at $63K and then at its final destination at $65,000.
Experts believe that the King of Cryptos could light another fire and skyrocket above $70,000 by the end of April.
Increasing the price, means also increasing the market cap. Bitcoin has broken another record with its market cap at over $1.2 Trillion.
Ethereum tops at $2,400 while XRP touches the price of $2
This week, most of the altcoins are in green following Bitcoin’s movements. All eyes are on Ethereum as the world’s second largest cryptocurrency has painted a fresh ATH having gains of almost 9%.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are not the only impressive performers as the party with the “GREENies” had many surprises for the industry.
Ripple skyrocketed at $2, increasing its value by 20% leading to a new All-Time High record after almost 3 years. Cardano would not miss the party and followed XRP for a new record to over $1.5. Binance Coin, Polkadot, Uniswap and Litecoin have also slightly increased their value by 3%, 8%, 2.5% and 10% respectively.
Dogecoin has won the title of the best performer in the past 24 hours increasing its value by 70% and breaking a new ATH of about $0.13.
